Has your relationship become
too difficult, too painful?

Maybe you have been fighting almost daily, or perhaps you‘ve accumulated unresolved resentments about each other. You may be struggling to communicate without triggering hurt feelings, or simply tired of not feeling heard. Perhaps you’re feeling lonely in your marriage, not sure where it is headed.

Whatever it is that you’re experiencing, you’re beginning to notice the impact of this in every facet of your life:

●       Lost your joy and zest for life

●       Don’t feel like yourself anymore

●       Feel anxious and depressed about your now and your future

Marriage & Couples Counseling Can Help

It may feel impossible now, but you can enjoy your relationship again. You can feel deep meaningful connection to your partner. You can feel alive and strong thank to your relationship. And I can help you get there.

Marriage & Couples Counseling helps you do 3 things:

●  Identify the root of the problems you’re experiencing by examining all aspects of your relational dynamic in the assessment you and your partner will complete.

●  Understand how your patterns of relating to one another affect your marriage, good and bad.

●  Learn specific customized tools that will help resolve your problems, so you can move forward in love and respect together.

I’ll help you through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to couples counseling comes from a place of evidence-based knowledge that neither you nor your partner are the “problem,” but that it’s simply the cycle you’re in that needs fixing.

Pain and dissatisfaction don’t have to be your story. You don’t have to live life feeling lonely and despairing quietly. It’s time to start enjoying each other and your life again.

I can help you get there.

“Emotional bonds are the source of resilience.
They make us strong.“

FAQs

Q: What are couples counseling sessions like?

A: In the initial session you and your partner will be guided to tell your story and share your struggles so we all understand what is hurting and needs to be healed. You will then be asked to complete a thorough relational assessment (at home) that will examine all aspects of your life together, highlight your strengths and ref flag the weaknesses. In the following sessions we’ll work on the weaknesses, using specific tailor made tools (including role-play, exercises and homework) to heal your relationship.

Q: How long do I need to be in therapy?

A: Every couple is unique in the nature of issues they struggle with as well as the pace with which they move. The average length of time is from 6 months to a year of weekly or biweekly sessions.

Q: How do I know if couples therapy will work for me?

A: While there are no guarantees, if you are determined to understand the nature of your struggles and want to do your part in order to heal, you are a good fit for couples therapy with me, because my training comes from examining problems and implementing tried and true solutions for thousands of couples.

Q: How do we get started?

A: Schedule your first session. In your initial visit you get to tell your story and share your pain. Once your assessment is done, we will meet individually with you and your partner for 1 session (rarely, but possibly 2-3 sessions may be required) to discuss the results and determine if therapy with me is a good fit for you. If it is, we’ll schedule our next joint session where we will also set goals for counseling with the outcomes you would like to see as a result of therapy.
